Research Coordinator Park Nicollet St Louis Park MN

Provides support to the team involved in conducting clinical cancer research through the Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium (MMCORC). MMCORC is comprised of 25 community hospitals and clinics with over 160 physicians in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro-area which provides the opportunity for patients and physicians to have access to National Cancer Institute (NCI) and pharmaceutical trials for all types of adult cancer.

Position coordinates a diverse workload consisting of providing data management support for multiple cancer trials utilizing multiple electronic health record systems and electronic data capture systems. Seeking a highly organized individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Medical terminology and basic knowledge of research and data management systems preferred.

Skilled proficiency in navigating multiple electronic systems, i.e., Microsoft Office applications, Epic or a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) is desired. Collaborates and communicates regularly within assigned area as well as with external customers, vendors, and partners. Other duties as assigned by MMCORC Leaders.

Oncology Research Nurse

Independently oversees and provides patient care management and education, or conducts research using sound nursing judgment, critical thinking, and clinical knowledge and skills. Serves as a mentor/resource to other research and education staff. Provides clinical consultative, educational and research support. Collaborates with primary care and specialty departments within PNHS. Interacts with the community and external customers, and disseminates knowledge and expertise to other health professionals including oral presentations and written manuscripts.
